The Trump Administration announced a one-month pause on tariffs against Canada and Mexico that went into effect on March 4.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Trade talks are continuing between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico after the Trump Administration paused scheduled tariffs against the two countries.

The tariffs will remain on pause until April 2; until then, the three countries will continue negotiating on items such as border security.

Despite the taxes on foreign goods being in effect for a few days, some car mechanics, like All Tune and Lube in York, have already seen a markup on some car parts.

While working on one customer’s car, owner Tim Goelz said he watched the price of brakes and rotors from outside the country increase by 80 percent in a single day.
