There’s was an extra buzz in the arena, despite the absence of the man putting on the show, youtuber-turned-boxing promoter and internet sensation Jake Paul, for a clash of unbeaten lightweights at Toronto’s Woodbine Casino Friday night.

Paul, who famously won a decision over 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson in November, was not in attendance for the card Friday, despite flying up to Toronto the week before to support his brother at a WWE Elimination Chamber wrestling event at the Rogers Centre.

But Lucas Bahdi, the pride of Niagara Falls, holder of an unblemished record (18-0) and poised for a world title shot, was there and he and Filipino southpaw Ryan Racaza (now 15-1) put on a show for an audience that packed the arena before the main event even got underway, with Bahdi – nicknamed ‘Prince’ – winning a unanimous decision in the battle of 135-pounders.
