Update 2: Around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, X was down again. Over 3,000 Canadians reported outages around noon, according to downdetector.ca.

Update: Shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Monday, X appeared to be working again.

Social media users reported difficulty accessing X Monday morning.

Previously Twitter, Elon Musk’s social media site X, was down in Ontario on Monday from about 9:30 a.m., according to reports. 

News reports indicated the site was down around 6 a.m. on Monday. Thousands of people in the U.S. and U.K. reported outages to the tracking website Downdetector.com.

Variety reported the platform was down for about 45 minutes but appeared to be back to normal around 2.30 a.m. Pacific Time.

As of 10 a.m. on Monday, X was down for Ontario residents.

There has been no word on the cause of the outages.
