March 14 weather: Over 20 C with sunny skies in parts of southern Ontario [Video]

It’s expected to be a sunny day with highs up to 22 C in some parts of southern Ontario.

Environment Canada has been forecasting above-season temperatures to round out the work week with a daytime high of around 9 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto.

Normal highs for this time of year are around 3 C with a low of -6 C, the agency says.

It could be even warmer in Hamilton, Oshawa, Pickering and Durham Region with a high of around 12 C, while Windsor and parts of Essex County could see temperatures reach 20 C.

Watford and parts of Eastern Lambton County could creep up to 21 C, Environment Canada says.

Into the evening temperatures will cool in the GTA but are expected to stay above freezing with an overnight low of 7 C in Mississauga and Toronto.
