A SEASIDE town has been left ruined after filthy caravans were parked along a road.

People living in the vehicles on Wilson Avenue in Brighton have dumped rubbish everywhere and are refusing to leave.

Brighton and Hove City Council has served the owners a direction to leave, according to The Argus.

Councillor Gill Williams said the local authority regularly check the mobile homes.

He said: “The vehicles on Wilson Avenue are regularly monitored by our team and where they are deemed to be lived in, notices are served instructing people to leave.

“This has happened recently, with notices served on a number of vehicles.
