A Canadian bride has gained viral attention after she made an unusual realization about her wedding.

Megan Thompson, 24, from Ontario, Canada, shared a TikTok clip where she confessed to having a “very Millennial-coded wedding,” despite herself being Generation Z.

The video (@mooganhoom), which has gained over 11.8 million views and more than 1.4 million likes, revealed the classic millennial wedding trends at Thompson’s 2022 wedding, from rustic decor to personalized details.

“Didn’t have Mason jars tho so it couldn’t really be that bad, right?” she joked in the caption.

Her wedding featured handwritten chalk signs, reclaimed wooden decor, centerpieces on cut wood with hurricane candle jars, and even a Star Wars-inspired photo shoot.
