A man is facing charges after a crash in Ontario last month that left two people dead and three others injured, police say.

Ontario Provincial Police said that on Feb. 8 at around 11:55 a.m., officers responded to a head-on crash involving three vehicles in Springwater Township, north of Barrie.

It happened on County Road 27 between Flos Road 11 East and Baseline Road.

Police said two people — an 80-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman — died at the scene.

Three others suffered minor injuries, police said.

OPP said that following further investigation, Fulton was charged with another 12 counts of operating a vehicle while prohibited.

“These charges relate to 12 separate incidents that occurred between October 2019 and January 2025,” OPP said.

Fulton remains in custody and has an upcoming court appearance …
