Canada is poised to go into snap elections in April, as per reports. PM Mark Carney is set to call for elections this Sunday (Mar 23), days after taking office. Carney will meet Guv General with a request to dissolve Parliament. Carney succeeded Justin Trudeau as Liberal Party Leader on Mar 9, and was sworn in on Mar 14.
