Scammers are at it once again, targeting vulnerable individuals with schemes designed to steal personal and financial information for their own gain.

The latest scam involves mimicking a real business by creating a sophisticated online presence using fake websites, branded logos, and contact information to appear legitimate.

Enbridge Gas, a utility service provider, is warning customers about a scam where fraudsters are impersonating the company, claiming to offer discounts on natural gas bills.

Victims are then tricked into providing sensitive information such as credit card numbers and bank details over the phone.

Enbridge Gas confirmed in a recent news release that it does not offer discounts on gas bills and never asks for credit card payments or verification of banking information over the phone.
