New flights will get more travellers to Europe from Toronto and Montreal this summer.

Air Canada announced it is adding a new route and adding more flights to popular European destinations for the upcoming summer travel season.

New summer services from Montreal to Edinburgh will complement existing summer services from Toronto to the Scottish capital city. The new flights will run from late June until September.

Air Canada is adding close to 1,300 weekly seats to Paris and Athens, and is also extending its peak Toronto to Rome schedule until October.

Three new flights will be added from Toronto to Paris on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. There are now up to 10 weekly flights from Toronto, and 14 weekly flights from Montreal to Paris. 

Two new flights will go to Athens from Toronto on Tuesday and Friday. There will now be up to 10 weekly flights from Toronto, and 10 weekly flights from Montreal to Athens.
