I-TEAM: Big north Toledo properties have turned into dumping grounds [Video]

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A large north Toledo property has become a large dumping ground. Everything from toys to boats are littering the property. People living nearby said it’s been going on for years and they want it addressed.

It’s not just garbage dropped by the entrance on North Michigan Street. When you go further into the property, things get even worse.

Boats, living room furniture, tires and even more boats litter the Ann Arbor Railroad property in north Toledo in the area of North Michigan, Columbus and North Ontario streets. A place Laura Rowley has lived near since the late 1970s.

“Never see anyone over there except who’s not supposed to be over there,” said Rowley. “It’s sat that way for years.”

Not only does she see the garbage and junk left behind, but hears the issues as well.
