Weather conditions have cancelled school buses in some parts of Ontario.

There are weather alerts and warnings for heavy rain and freezing rain across the province from Wednesday through Thursday.

School buses are cancelled in areas that may be hit with freezing rain.

Buses are cancelled in Zone 3 in Caledon due to weather conditions, Peel District School Board said on X. However, schools remain open for students and staff. Students enrolled in in-person learning are expected to attend school as usual, and there will be no switch to remote learning.

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board also said Zone 3 buses are cancelled. In addition, buses to St. Andrew, St. Peter, St. Benedict, and R. F. Hall are cancelled today due to the forecasted road and weather conditions. All schools are open.
