Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has announced a bold new acute care funding model in Edmonton. Joined by Health Minister Adriana LaGrange, interim Acute Care Alberta CEO Chris Eagle, and University of Calgary’s Dr. Glen Sumner, Smith says the reform will fix critical bottlenecks and improve hospital outcomes.
