Police say two people got into a “physical altercation” with suspects who allegedly broke into their Oakville home and stole the keys to their Land Rover.

Halton police say three suspects are still at large following the reported home invasion on April 7. According to police, the suspects–one of whom was carrying a ‘large knife’–forced their way into a home in the Randall Street and Watson Avenue area (close to the Lakeshore Road and Trafalgar intersection) around 11 p.m.

Poloce allege the suspects confronted the adult male and adult female residents of the home, demanding the keys to a Land Rover parked in the driveway. A physical altercation ensued before the suspects located the keys and fled in the residents’ vehicle.

Police say the male resident sustained minor injuries.

All three suspects are described as males wearing dark-coloured clothing and face masks.

The suspect vehicle is described as a light-coloured sedan believed to be a Honda Civic.
