A mix of spring weather is heading to southern Ontario this weekend, as regions can expect a mix of rain and sun. 

After a gusty winter week which saw numerous regions across the GTA get hit with snow and wind, the weekend is granting the province a break, as temperatures across the GTA are expected to climb. 

However, today, Thursday, Apr. 10, a mixture of showers, light flurries, and a high of 4 C will maintain this week’s chilly standard. 

By tomorrow, temperatures in southern Ontario are anticipated to gradually climb, starting with a high of 7 C and mild showers in the GTA, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). 

Then, as of Saturday, spring weather kicks off in earnest with a high of 11 C, making way for even warmer temperatures this Sunday with a high of 14 C.
