A person wanted in connection with a murder investigation in Sudbury could be in southern Ontario.

A 21-year-old man was found dead in a Black 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 on Lansdowne Street in Sudbury on April 6, the Greater Sudbury Police said in a press release.

Police found the man after a call for a suspicious vehicle in a garage.

The coroner’s office later confirmed the man died as a result of multiple gunshot wounds. Police are not releasing his name out of respect for the family’s wishes.

Police believe the body was hidden in the truck but the man may have been shot in another location. The shooting is believed to be a targeted attack.
