It should be a sunny day with daytime highs in the double-digit range in the Greater Toronto Area and southern Ontario.

Environment Canada says Thursday is expected to start with sunny skies in the GTA, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and the Niagara Falls area.

Daytime temperatures could reach up to 13 C in Mississauga and up to 15 C in Windsor, the weather agency says.

Things could be a chillier in Hamilton in the early hours with a wind chill that will feel more like -5 C before warming up to around 13 C.

Conditions should stay clear into the evening with an overnight low between 0 C and 10 C, depending on where you are in the province.
