The Makapahay Cultural Arts Ensemble dazzled at the opening ceremony of the 2025 Jiangsu Nanjing-Taiwan Week. The highlight production from Yilan in Taiwan region showcased vibrant traditional costumes and powerful indigenous performances. The ensemble’s name, “Makapahay,” embodies the Amis word for “magnificently beautiful”. One glance at their performance and you’ll instantly understand why!
