Police on the hunt for man wanted in armed robbery of Ontario convenience store [Video]

Investigators have released an image of a man accused of robbing a gas station at gunpoint in Oshawa in the early hours of Sunday, April 6.

Durham Regional Police responded to a robbery at the Circle K on Park Road South just before 5 a.m. that morning. Police said the man entered the store brandishing a firearm and ordered the employee to open the register and fill a gym bag with cigarettes.

No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as white, 5’8-5”10 with an average build. He was wearing a black balaclava, sunglasses, a black sweater, black pants and white shoes.

Anyone with cellphone, dash cam, surveillance footage, or information about this incident is asked to contact the Robbery Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5355.
