After a stretch of grey skies and showers, Sunday is shaping up to be a bright and breezy day across southern Ontario, with sunshine and milder temperatures settling in.

Those hoping to catch the 6:13 a.m. sunrise are in for a treat. Clear skies will offer the perfect backdrop for an early morning walk or a quiet coffee outdoors.

Mississauga, Brampton and Halton will see sunny conditions throughout the day, with daytime highs reaching 17 C. Durham will also see sunny skies, with a slightly cooler high of 16 C. In Hamilton, the sunshine will stick around as well, with a daytime high of 18 C. Winds across the region will gust up to 40 km/h, easing later in the afternoon.
