Police on the hunt for four men after armed home invasion in Ontario town [Video]

An armed home invasion in Ajax early Sunday morning has left one victim in hospital after being pistol-whipped and four men wanted by police.

Durham Police said four men dressed in dark clothing broke into a home near Wilce Drive and Sayor Drive just before 2:30 a.m. on April 27 and assaulted the homeowner. Another resident tried to intervene and was struck with a firearm.

The suspects fled the area before police arrived.

One of the victims was taken to Ajax-Pickering Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

Police believe this to be an isolated incident.
