A festival promoting Macedonian culture in Durham Region has been awarded more than $18,000 from the provincial government to help organizers expand programming and draw in more visitors.
The St. Nedela Annual Festival, hosted by St. Nedela Macedonian Orthodox Church in Ajax, earned a grant of $18,150 through the 2025 Experience Ontario program to support the festival.
This is part of a nearly $20-million investment in festivals and events across Ontario and was presented to the church during St. Nedela’s bazaar and annual bake sale on Sunday.
