Severe storms hit central Pennsylvania causing power outages and wind damage [Video]

Most of the power outages took place in Mifflin and Juniata Counties, as storm damage was reported across the region.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Strong thunderstorms made their way through south central Pennsylvania between 7:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, causing wind damage, blocked roadways and power outages around the area.

According to storm reports, areas affected by the storms include Dauphin, Mifflin, Perry and Juniata counties, with power outages being reported in some as well.

Multiple trees were reported down in Halifax Township, Dauphin County, which blocked and closed roadways throughout the night on Tuesday.

Lightning struck a pole and knocked power out across the area in Millerstown, Perry County, but that scene has since been cleared as well.

In northern Dauphin County, about 1,100 people including Elizabethville were without power, and areas in Mifflin and Juniata counties were also without power heading into Wednesday morning, April …
