Four arrested, one at large after cellphone store robbery in Ontario city [Video]

Police have four men in custody with one suspect still at large after a robbery and assault at a cellphone store in Oshawa Wednesday afternoon.

Durham Regional Police responded to a robbery in progress call at the Telus store on King Street at Townline Road at 12:30 p.m. on April 30. Police said an employee opened the door for a woman he believed to be a customer, and three males rushed inside, assaulting the worker and forcing him to the back of the store.

The men tried to access the safe but failed and then fled before the arrival of police in a silver Honda CRV parked nearby and driven by a fourth man.

The car was seen driving westbound into Oshawa on King Street.

All four suspects were located by Peel Regional Police shortly after and taken into custody. The four men were transported to Durham where they were …
