ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – Alaska rivers are on the move! Break-up season arrived along with the month of May. The yukon river at Dawson broke yesterday and the flood watch for Eagle was issued today, and will last through Monday.

Wet and windy weather is still lashing Prince William Sound, North Gulf Coast and Panhandle.

Southcentral will see heavier rainfall over Prince William Sound, and showers for the Matanuska & Susitna Valleys and over the western Kenai Peninsula.
