BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bandits won Game 1 of their best-of-3 semifinal series, at home, against the Vancouver Warriors.
Now comes the tough part. Game 2 on Sunday night will require a cross-continent trip to British Columbia, with a game that is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Eastern time at Rogers Arena.
Buffalo encountered few issues on Friday night, scoring six goals in the first 15 minutes and cruising to a 9-3 victory.
Bandits coach John Tavares said his team would not be at a disadvantage on Sunday night because of the travel.
