A man was found lying on an Ontario highway in what is believed to be a hit-and-run on the weekend.
The injured 64-year-old man from North York was found alone on the side of Highway 12 between Brebeuf Road and Highway 93 in Midland just before 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, OPP said.
Police believe his injuries were caused by being struck by a vehicle. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers closed a section of Highway 12 until 11:26 p.m. on Sunday for the investigation.
Police believe the crash may have occurred between 9 p.m. and 9:26 p.m. on May 4. Anyone with dashcam video or an area resident with surveillance video should contact police.
