Investigators are asking members of the public to help locate a vulnerable Ontario man missing for weeks who could be in Mississauga or Brampton.

York Regional Police say Robert Bissessar was last seen on April 14 in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Erin Mills Parkway in Mississauga.

Police say the 56-year-old man from Newmarket is considered “vulnerable” and officers are concerned for his wellbeing.

Bissessar is “transient in nature” and is known to frequent shelters and hospitals in Newmarket, Mississauga and Brampton.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact investigators.

Bissessar is described as a 56-year-old male standing around five-foot-six inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
