A goat caused multiple traffic hazards on Ontario highways this week.

“We’re not ‘kidding’ you – this little guy caused quite the disruption…” OPP said in a post on X Thursday morning.

The lone goat was spotted along Highways 416 and 401 near the U.S. border, south of Ottawa, on Wednesday night and Thursday morning, police said.

Police said they responded to “multiple traffic hazard complaints” as the “baaaad boy” ran onto the highways.

Nearby Canadian Border officers even pitched in to help nab the wayward goat.

The “(border) officers happened to see us running after him and came out to help,” the OPP said.

By chance, a member of the public passing by had another goat with them and some food, police said. This helped police finally build a rapport with the goat. They were able to move in close enough to catch him safely.
