Chipotle to open over 300 more restaurants in 2025 [Video]

(CNN) – Chipotle is planning on expanding its footprint, both in the United States and in Canada.

The Mexican grill restaurant says its opening more than 300 locations this year.

Up to 20 of those stores will be opened in Canada.

Approximately 80% of the stores will include a drive-thru “Chipotlane” for digital orders.

Chipotle says 57 company-owned restaurants have already opened during the first quarter of 2025.

In its fourth quarter earnings, the company reported a total revenue of more than $11 billion in 2024; that’s an increase of almost 15% from 2023.
