London Morning’s associate producer, Ryan Soulliere, listens to a lot of music for his role picking tunes for the show. In any given week, that’s about 25 songs. Here are his top three local and Canadian picks from last week.

Bobby Bazini – Take it Out on Me

As the saying goes: ‘If you know, you know’ — and fans of Bobby Bazini already know his name is synonymous with excellent music. The four-time Juno award nominee performed in London this week, and London Morning played Take it Out on Me from his 2023 album Pearl. The song is smooth with Bazini’s trademark smokey vocals combined with a Motown-style bed of instrumentation. The tune is complete with a dancing flute line and backup singers that help you sink into the song. Try Take it Out on Me on your latest playlist; it will shine bright on your next dinner party mix.

Burs – Soil
