It won’t be as warm as Saturday, but the forecast for Sunday is one of bright sunny skies and weather warm enough to take your mother out for brunch…but wear a light jacket, especially as temperatures are expected to plunge as we head into the evening.

Environment Canada forecasts that temperatures will start off in Southern Ontario at 5 C on Sunday but rise throughout the day with a high of 14 C in Toronto, but with temperatures varying as you move westward across the province, with Goderich expecting a high of 20 C.

In Mississauga and Brampton, you can expect a high of 15 C, Oshawa and Pickering it will be 14 C, Hamilton 13 C and Niagara 14 C.

The UV Index, which measures ultraviolet rays related to sun exposure that can cause skin damage, is set at 7, which is considered high, so protective measures should be …
