The stabbing and robbery of two students at a Toronto bus stop had led to charges for five teens, including a 12 and 15 year old from Oakville, police say.

The assaults happened on Monday shortly before 2 p.m. in the Guildwood Parkway and Livingston Road area, the Toronto Police Service says.

Two 15-year-old male students were waiting at a bus stop when they were approached by a group of five teens, investigators say.

That’s when the group surrounded the victims and assaulted them while demanding they hand over their cellphones and wallets.

Both of the teen boys were stabbed in the robbery and suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the altercation.

Police identified five suspects who were arrested and charged with multiple offences.
