A picture is worth a thousand words, as the saying goes, but an image Ronald Lange recently sent to his daughter delivered only two words: big winner.

The Mississauga father of two held a ticket in the March 25 Lotto Max draw that turned out to be a $100,000 winner. The Encore numbers on his ticket matched the last six of seven winning numbers in exact order, officials with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) said in a news release on Wednesday.

“I received an email from OLG and thought I’d won $1,000. It wasn’t until later, when I checked again, that I realized it was $100,000,” Lange, who works in construction, said while visiting the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim his winnings. “I was happy and excited as I called my daughter.
