A post about a woman’s creative way of dealing with loud music coming from a downstairs neighbor has gone viral on Reddit.

The post was shared by user u/FuchsiaGhostKugiko, who did not share her name but told Newsweek that she is a teacher in her 20s based in Arizona. The post, titled “Discovered an ‘Off Button’ for Downstairs Neighbor” has earned 42,000 upvotes since it was uploaded on May 10.

The post opens with a mix of guilt and satisfaction, with the woman writing: “I have to get this off my chest cause I feel a bit bad about it, but it’s worked so well I don’t want to stop.”
