Major airline announces new flights from these airports in Canada [Video]

A major airline has announced new flights from three different airports in Canada.

Air Transat said that starting in the winter 2025-2026 season, it will be operate new routes from Windsor (YQG), Charlottetown (YYG), and Fredericton (YFC).

Travellers will be able to fly to Punta Cana from Windsor with the airline, and to Cancun from Charlottetown and Fredericton.

The flights to Punta Cana from Windsor will operate every Friday from Dec. 19 to April 10, 2026.

And starting on Feb. 18, 2026, flights to Cancun from Charlottetown and Fredericton will be offered every Wednesday until April 22, 2026.

“These new routes will offer travellers from these regions direct access to these popular sun destinations, as well as the simplicity of Transat’s signature all-inclusive packages,” the airline said.
