BUFFALO, N.Y. — If the Bandits are to become back-to-back-to-back National Lacrosse League champions, it will have to happen in front of the home crowd in Banditland.
The Bandits hopes of clinching the NLL title were delayed Sunday night, as they fell to Saskatchewan 11-10 in Game 2 of the Finals. With the win by the Rush, it pushes the series to a winner-take-all Game 3 in Buffalo next weekend.
Buffalo was paced by a five-point night from Dhane Smith, and a highlight-reel goal from Chase Fraser put the Bandits in front 9-8.
However, the Rush defended home turf by outscoring Buffalo 3-1 in the fourth quarter to even up the series.
