If you’ve got plans to soak up the sun on Tuesday, you’re in luck! It’s shaping up to be a bright and breezy day across southern Ontario, with sunny skies.

For those early birds hoping to catch a stunning morning sky, Tuesday’s sunrise is at 5:46 a.m., and skies should be clear enough to enjoy it.

Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham will be mainly sunny with a daytime high of 17 C. The UV index will sit at 8 — very high — so Environment Canada advises wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat if heading outdoors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Hamilton will also see sunny skies, with a slightly cooler high of 15 C.

A light breeze of 20 km/h will stick around for most of the day across the region.

Sunset begins at 8:40 p.m.
