MERIDIAN, Miss. (WTOK) -Meridian is a proud host to the Run for the Wall riders along the Southern Route every year.

This group of motorcyclists travels across the country to ride for those who can’t. It’s one mission with four routes, as the run starts in Ontario, California, and ends in Washington, D.C.

Karoni Forrester, Southern Route Outreach Coordinator, says that she is riding for a purpose.

Patrick Kirby, Run for the Wall State Coordinator for the Southern Route of Mississippi, says that Memorial Day means a whole lot more than a happy Memorial Day.
