The affected vehicles are the 2022, 2023 and 2024 Audi Q5 SUVs.

Government figures indicated that there are 16,863 vehicles in Canada affected by the recall.

Audi will notify owners by mail and advise them to take their SUV to a dealership for an inspection, the notice said.

If needed, the cylinder head cover screws will be replaced and tightened.
