The VB Street Art Festival transforms Virginia Beach into a live gallery with murals, music and interactive art activities from May 30 to June 1.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The 2nd Annual VB Street Art Festival kicks off on Friday in the ViBe Creative District, transforming the streets of Virginia Beach into a live, walkable art gallery with murals, music and interactive experiences through June 1.

Fifteen artists from across Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Canada will paint new murals directly onto neighborhood sculpture installations along 18th and 19th Streets. The free, three-day event invites the public to watch the artists in action, explore the 1.5-mile loop, and even join in by painting at festival headquarters, The Garage VB.

Festival hours run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. A “Meet the Artists Happy Hour” will be held Friday, May 30, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Vibrant Shore Brewing …
