Jack Puglas’ 12-year engagement with his fiancée is set to end — in marriage — after he scored a big lottery win.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation announced Tuesday that the Airdrie, Alberta resident won a $1 million maxmillions prize in the May 6 Lotto Max draw.

He was making coffee one morning when he scanned his ticket and discovered the win.

“I scanned it a few times before I went to wake my fiancée up,” he said.

“She scanned it on her phone too and then we went to the [Circle K] to see if it was real.”

And it definitely was real.

Puglas said he and his fiancée just bought their first home a month ago and now they will pay it off and start renovations.

And after being engaged for 12 years, they can now start planning for their wedding, he said.

“We can set a date,” Puglas said.

They will also be putting money away for their kids’ …
