Showers end today:

The soggy pattern the viewing area has been in over the past few days comes to a close this evening. A round of showers will move through this afternoon before finally coming to a close overnight.

Air quality concerns:

An overall nice weekend will have air quality concerns for sensitive groups.Wildfire smoke from Canada will be moving in.Most of this smoke will make for a hazy skyand will stay above us, but a bit of it will make it near the surface. It will arrive Friday afternoon and is expected to move out Sunday night.

Pleasant pattern:

Next week appears pleasant, with temperatures in the middle 80s and sunshine for a lot of us.We are tracking rain chances on Tuesday and Wednesday, but those look fairly meager for now, we’ll keep you updated.
