Today will be another sunny day across the area. We still may have some slight haze along the horizon from the Canadian wildfire smoke, but for the most part, things should be fairly pleasant. Sunshine will continue into tomorrow, with high temperatures in the low 90s. The rain that was supposed to arrive mid-week has dissipated, so most of the area will stay fairly dry and sunny. Rain won’t show back up until Saturday, with the risk of strong storms possible across Southern Arkansas. The main threat for any strong storms that develop will be damaging wind gusts. The chance for rain will continue into Sunday and Monday as well.
