Wildfire Smoke Moving In & Impacts Air Quality Wednesday [Video]

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – The rest of the night will have mostly clear skies with lows that will range from the upper 40s to the mid 50s.

Smoke from wildfires burning across parts on Canada will be drifting into the region tonight and will stick around into Wednesday. You may be able to smell the smoke starting tonight.

Impacts to air quality is expected due to the smoke as a statewide Moderate air quality is forecast. This means sensitive groups should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors. The smoke should begin to thin out by Wednesday night.
