As the temperature soars across Ontario, there is a risk of thunderstorms, torrential downpours and hail.
It could feel like 35 C with the humidex in the GTA on Wednesday, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
The humidity could lead to storms.
Strong wind gusts, torrential downpours and hail are forecast over parts of southern Ontario, Environment Canada said on X.
Regions with a moderate risk include southwestern Ontario, areas just north of the GTA and cottage country.
There is a 70 per cent chance of thunderstorms with wind gusts up to 40 km/h on Wednesday evening in the GTA. The temperature is expected to drop to 17 C overnight.
The risk of a thunderstorm continues into Thursday morning in the GTA.
