Hurontario Street in Mississauga has been named among the worst roads in Ontario for the past three years.

When it comes to being named among the worst roads in Ontario, Hurontario Street in Mississauga is a pretty consistent recent performer.

For the third consecutive year, that major road — one of the busiest in Canada’s seventh-largest city — has placed in the top 10 on the CAA’s annual list of the worst roads in the province.

The Mississauga section of Hurontario Street earned fifth spot on the latest list, released on Thursday, to match its ranking from last year. In 2023, the major route placed 10th on the list.

The CAA’s Worst Roads rankings rely each year upon public feedback to determine roads in the roughest state of disrepair — or with other safety issues — across the province.
