One of Canada’s most wanted bail jumpers is captured in Montreal [Video]

A man who has been on the most wanted list of a Canadian police department has been arrested.

Police in Halton Region say 26-year-old Raffaele-Giulio Draicchio has been captured after being on the run for more than a year.

Draicchio was apprehended by Halton officers in Montreal yesterday (June 4).

Halton Regional Police operate in the communities of Oakville, Burlington, Milton and Halton Hills in Ontario.

In February of 2024, Draicchio was arrested in Oakville along with three others as part of an investigation into an auto theft ring. At the time of the arrests, police recovered two stolen Toyota 4Runners.

Draicchio was charged with three counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, as well as having instruments typically used to steal cars.

He was released on bail but never returned for a court appearance. A warrant …
