MEMORIAL DAY EVENING: It’s been a wonderful weather day to enjoy the outdoors as we kick off the unofficial start to summer as we honor those who fought for our country. Afternoon temperatures are reaching the low-70s across much of the region which is around average for late May. TUESDAY – WEDNESDAY: An upper-level low will bring moisture and instability from Canada into the Northern Plains between Tuesday and Wednesday. As a result, during the afternoon and evening hours, scattered showers, and even an isolated thunderstorm, will pop up across our region, in what’s known as a diurnal pattern.
