FORT ST. JOHN –Former BC Conservative party leader Trevor Bolin is sharing his reaction to Saturday’s election results.
“I think this round was different because people understood that they could make a change provincially,” said Bolin in an interview with CJDC-TV, adding that the election was about removing the NDP from power.
Bolin praised leader John Rustad and his team, noting that the timing of the election worked in their favour with people tired of the ‘status quo.’
“He was very well known in the North and that really was our main goal for years,” said Bolin.
Bolin led the then grassroots BC Conservatives from 2019 to 2023 before retiring for personal reasons. He says that during the 2020 election, candidates funded themselves, and the subsequent financing made a significant difference this time around.
